Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking three High School Interns at our Dearborn Works location. We are looking for a responsible candidates to perform a project over the summer, dependent on their final department assignment.

Cleveland-Cliffs Dearborn Works is an integrated steel mill located in the Rouge Complex in Dearborn, Michigan. As an integrated steel maker, we take raw material to produce steel from scratch. Our production facilities include a Blast Furnace, Basic Oxygen Furnaces (BOF), Ladle Metallurgy Furnaces, a Vacuum Degasser, two Slab Casters, a Pickling Line Tandem Cold Mill (PLTCM), and a Hot Dipped Galvanizing Line (HDGL).

While working at Dearborn Works, interns will work on an assigned project. While working on this project, they will receive relevant hands-on experience. Also while working on their projects, they will be paired with experienced personnel to oversee their progress and provide direction and guidance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• This is a general position, therefore responsibilities will vary. Qualified applicants must be able to perform any and all tasks assigned and must be able to lift 50 pounds. These tasks may involve physical labor, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with MS Office
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Enrolled in High School, or recently graduated
