Job DescriptionThis internship would involve Commercial & Private bank Application Support. Application Support Analysts support IT services delivered to users within an organization, enabling the required operational processes needed for the business to be successful. By default, Application Support Analysts enable people to execute their responsibilities within the relevant business processes
Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software
Providing technical support to teams within the organization when required
Assisting with systems integrations
Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date
Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
Identifying and resolving technical issues
Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization's system
Developing reports for teams across the business
Day to Day responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service while responding to requests for technical support
Represent the customer to ensure serviceability and product quality issues are being tracked, prioritized, resolved, and incorporated into the product release cycle
Track and monitor all support cases to ensure timely resolution and follow-up
Clearly identify, document, and find solutions for customer issues and product problems
Escalate critical customer situations to the appropriate level of management and engineering expertise
Communicate technical issues and solutions to the Application Support leadership team
Contribute to documentation and knowledgebase article library
Research and experiment with new technologies that can improve day to day operations
Skills & Requirements:
Candidates must be students currently enrolled in a college/university
Seeking the following Majors: Computer Sciences, Mathematics
Seeking Undergrad or Masters level students (or open to a both)
Preferred candidates should have work or academic experience with the following: python, java, scripting, some knowledge of AWS, containerization experience useful
