The Office of Education, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a Medical Education Program Coordinator to join the administrative team to collect and analyze data from a variety of sources and offer recommendations that will support compliance and program improvement for both the Residency and the Undergraduate medical Education Program. This role will also hold primary responsibility for updating and maintaining websites and social media platforms for the residency and fellowships within Internal Medicine for the purpose of attracting high quality residents and fellow to the University of New Mexico. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Program Manager and both the Residency and Clerkship Program Directors to identify trends and issues affecting student success and resident learning.
The Coordinator will also assist the recruitment of new residents to UNM, and in the maintenance of relevant databases. This position demands a high level of computer proficiency in programs such as Cascade, New Innovations, One45, Smartsheet, and others. Exceptional analytical skills, ability to learn new programs, offer solutions to complex problems and communicate professionally will be essential for the successful candidate. The Coordinator will also support the fellowship programs in maintaining and updating social media accounts and web pages intended to inform and recruit fellows to Internal Medicine sub-specialty programs.
