See the home page for more information. Position SummaryWe are recruiting for Part-Time Instructors in Language, Literacy, and Sociocultural Studies for the Gallup Branch Campus. These part time instructors are expected to teach undergraduates in teacher licensure programs. The instructors may be teaching online sections of these courses. This faculty member will be expected to participate in enhancing the coherence and effectiveness of the teacher preparation programs. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Earned Master's in education, or closely related field, by the appointed start date
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience teaching (grades K-12) in public schools in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Endorsement/License in Bilingual Education or TESOL
  • Earned doctorate in Education or closely related field
  • Teaching experience in language or sociocultural studies in a teacher preparation program
  • An interest or experience in online teaching
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities
