Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Water/Wastewater Designer, we'll count on you to:

• With occasional assistance from project engineers and managers, produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of water and wastewater engineering designs using computer-aided drafting software
• Project work will include the design of water treatment plants, booster pump stations, well sites, lift stations, water mains, and sewer collection mains.
• Conduct field investigations and inspections as needed
• Perform other duties as needed #LI-JM8

Required Qualifications

• Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
• A minimum of 6 years experience in civil design with BIM programs
• Requires good working knowledge of AutoCAD and construction documents
• Requires a good working knowledge of BIM, construction documents and technical knowledge
• Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential
• Civil drafting background with underground utility experience
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Facility (piping and mechanical) experience
• Prior water/wastewater engineering CAD related project experience
• Civil 3D 2020 is desirable
