The Theatre and Dance department if pleased to offer an Administrative Assistant II position for the department. We are seeking to hire a motivated, enthusiastic and energetic individual. The department if part of the College for Fine Arts and is an amazing department to be a part of.
The Administrative Assistant II in the Theatre and Dance Department will serve as the front desk administrator for the office. Responsibilities include supervising student employees, working with staff and faculty in the department, and working with the general public. The administrative assistant duties include but not limited to time entry and payroll of the department's staff and student employees, obtaining a Pcard for purchasing, reconciling in Pcard purchase, hiring department's student employees, maintaining department listserv, placing work order, attending and taking notes for meetings, giving tours, and running errands to other buildings.
High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Experience in the following:
* - Customer service and working with the public
* -Working with Outlook, Microsoft word and Excel
* - Pcard and Chrome River
* - Phone and Email etiquette
* - Working faculty and students
