STV's Intern program is an important part of STV's strategic plan for growth. Our managers work closely with students to prepare and evaluate them for full time STV employment upon graduation. In addition to meaningful work on many world-class projects, we offer STV's Intern Development Program to our interns to help them network with one another, to learn some critical professional skills, and to have fun.

STV is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern Student for our Transportation and Infrastructure division in our Texas, Colorado and Oklahoma offices. This position will work with senior and junior designers to assist in the completion of project construction documents for various projects. The Transportation Group provides design services to both public agencies and other larger design projects. Major projects typically include public transit, roadway, and bridge projects.

Responsibilities:

• Work under direction of senior staff
• Preparing drawings, specifications, using MicroStation to design alignments, drainage systems, grading, and producing technical deliverables for highway and transportation engineering projects
• Format reports and specifications
• Assist in file management of project electronic documents, including printing and scan documents as required
• Assignments serve to offer practical experience and broad exposure to the company's organizational structure
• Utilizes current company-wide and/or department specific software to complete assignments
• Specific activities vary by assignment

Required Skills:

Candidate will be enrolled in bachelor's degree program majoring in engineering.
