The University of New Mexico's Project ECHO has an exciting opportunity for two Program Specialists to support our New Mexico Programs Team! These individuals will provide oversight and planning of day-to-day administrative duties to maintain existing programs. The Program Specialist will play an integral role in continuing to expand public health programming for rural and underserved areas within the state.

As a successful Program Specialist, you will play an active role in collaborating with NM Programs' Program Managers and Program Coordinators to:

*Plan and coordinate the design, development, implementation, and execution of three to five ECHO programs
*Oversee and administer facets of the day-to-day operations of three to five ECHO programs, including but not limited to: program design, development, evaluation, implementation, outreach, execution, and hub team development
*Provide and coordinate the provision of technical/professional and programmatic guidance, consultation, and support for assigned ECHO programs (Joint Accreditation applications and reports, facilitator guides, IRB modifications, case form development)
*Lead strategic planning meetings including coordinating agendas, scheduling, and reviewing notes for accuracy, and track team actions
*Plan and coordinate special event grand rounds, community site visits, and meetings
*Participate in the drafting, design, and development of standard operating procedures and program handbooks
*Advise on operating goals and objectives for assigned ECHO programs
*Develop, write, edit, and present comprehensive statistical and narrative program reports for ongoing program development for internal and external stakeholders
*Identify opportunities to enhance program operations to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness
*Oversee and coordinate the collection, compilation, and basic analysis of NM ECHO program activity information and data
*Develop, implement, and manage data collection and analysis to include utilization of iECHO, REDCap, and MailChimp information
*Design and refine outreach activities, marketing strategies, communication materials, and tools for a variety of ECHO programs and special projects
*Create, produce, edit, and deliver a variety of promotional, educational, and informational presentations, resource materials, mass communications, blog posts, website material, and more for ECHO program activities, initiatives, and participants. Ensure consistent messaging in all NM ECHO program communications
*Serve as the primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders on all matters related to assigned ECHO program activities; represents UNM with respect to program activities on a local, regional, statewide, and/or national level to facilitate statewide hubs, and ensure program success and outreach

High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

• A demonstrated ability to determine informational needs, collect and analyze information, and devise and develop program analyses and reports
• A proven ability to work well with a dynamic team in the planning, development and implementation of telementoring and/or virtual learning community programming focused on health
• A proven record of adapting to changes in a rapidly growing organization
• Exceptional ability to use independent judgement and to manage and impart information to a range of clientele
• A proven record of strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in New Mexico
