Now hiring-Medicare Financial Advocate Specialist

Responsible for providing customer service for members to help facilitate financial security by assisting our members with eligibility to qualify for full or partial dual enrollment. Provide proactive member outreach and education about program benets, advocating on behalf of interested and eligible members. From submitting forms to monitoring approvals to appealing denials, the member is guided throughout the process from start to finish.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma plus one to three years office/business experience; call center experience preferred and/or is currently demonstrating customer service skills, meeting current department metric and attendance guidelines within department.
  • Managed care with possible enrollment experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Assist members with enrollment to help complete and submit necessary forms to the appropriate state agencies for Low Income eligibility and programs.
  • Help ensure Medicaid status is retained through annual engagement with all dual enrolled members that guides them through the recertification process.
  • Monitor Medicaid status to ensure help advise members regarding redetermination dates and eligibility changes.
  • Make outbound calls and one on one face to face appointments with Presbyterian Medicare Advantage members.
  • Perform other functions as required.
