Position Summary |
The Center for Global Health, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a highly
motivated and experienced Program Coordinator to serve as a strategic partner. The selected candidate will provide administrative
support for the Center Global Health and
associated faculty and post-docs. This position is responsible for the administrative planning and
organization of day-to-day operations, program development, and project
management within the Center. The ideal candidate will
have experience with fiscal management, grant preparation, tracking restricted
contracts and grants, and experience with managing and monitoring restricted
funds.

Conditions of Employment |
- If this position is assigned to the Athletics Department, either administratively or functionally, compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required.
- Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
- All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the US-UNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Minimum Qualifications |
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience
with administrative operations, program development and project management
- Experience
with fiscal management (budget, projections, reporting, procurement, travel
reimbursements, reconciling, etc.)
- Experience
with grant administration, to include preparation of grant proposals, post
award monitoring of restricted funds, and tracking expenses.
- Experience
with collecting, analyzing, compiling and reporting data
