We have a thriving Transportation & Infrastructure practice with a close-knit, team-oriented group that is growing rapidly. Due to our success, we need to continue to add resources to assist with the delivery of our current backlog of work. This backlog includes tasks associated with various infrastructure improvement projects for state, local, municipal, institutional, and private sector clients. Our team supports these clients with projects in Maryland and throughout the country.

This position offers excellent potential for career advancement and growth as this individual would assist other senior staff in guiding transportation agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region and nationwide. We are looking for a passionate & determined entry-level engineer. Candidate will join a team of young engineers and provide technical design and operational analysis.


Responsibilities include:

  • Traffic engineering operational analysis

  • Transportation safety analysis

  • Transportation data analysis

  • Pedestrian and bicycle facility analysis and design

  • Traffic signal coordination and timing

  • Developing design concepts utilizing AutoCAD and/or MicroStation (depending upon Client)

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering

  • Exposure to traffic analysis software

  • Exposure to MicroStation & AutoCAD drafting software

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • VISSIM, Synchro, HCS would be a +

Compensation Range:

$55,690.00 - $74,254.00
