Pharmacy Technician - Full Time

As a full time, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLCPharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule:The schedule for this full time, nonexempt position is Monday through Friday from 8:30am-3:00pm.

About the Facility:Haven Behavioral Hospital of Albuquerque is a licensed, acute care behavioral hospital that provides a safe, nurturing environment for the treatment of complex mental health and substance abuse issues. Offerings include innovative and customized treatments in both inpatient and outpatientprograms. Care is customized based on individual needs and preferences to help individuals move past illness or addiction and take back control of their lives. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy:This centralized pharmacy utilizes Pyxis/HCS with most medications automatically distributed after review by the Director. The pharmacy also utilizes COPE. Pharmacy hours are 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Pharmacy coverage is provided by a remote services provider outside of pharmacy hours.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • New Mexico Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity
  • Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • Hep B3 Series (or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
