  • Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital includes state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from health care conditions. It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in conducting medically prescribed therapy treatments to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.

  • Provides non-clinical support services to the therapist to include but not limited to maintaining patient treatment areas and basic clerical support.

  • Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.


Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent
  • CPR Certified

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Graduate of a certified physical therapy technician program or comparable experience
  • One (1) year experience in hospital, rehabilitation or outpatient setting as a therapy technician
