Cornerstone Building Brands is one of the largest providers of metal roofing systems, metal roofing panels, pole barns, and pre-engineered steel buildings in the South. We are seeking a Machine Operator in Albuquerque NM.

Primary Responsibilities:

• You understand what has priority in daily the production workflow and are quick to complete all assigned tasks while meeting measurable production metrics.
• Regularly stepping up to help our lean manufacturing process and co-workers be successful as a production team.
• You have a great understanding of the machinery that you run and are even able to diagnose repairs when the equipment is down.
• You use your basic math and computer skills to make sure equipment is set correctly and you assist co-workers when needed.
• Constantly work safely and comply with all safety regulations.
• Operate machines to produce the correct items for orders while standing in an upright position for extended periods of time and moving about on foot.
• Will be trained to use forklift to transport heavy weight metal coils.
• Willingness to participate daily in shop cleaning responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree.
• 3+ years of experience in fabrication/manufacturing.
• Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must have a high attention to detail to consistently produce quality product.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Will lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds and more with assistance.
• The physical demands of the job include standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, and near acuity.
