As the Accounts Receivables Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounts receivable function, including billing, collections, and customer account management. Scope and Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts receivable team and ensure accurate and timely processing of customer invoices and payments.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize the accounts receivable process and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Investigate and resolve customer billing disputes and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Review and analyze customer credit applications and make credit decisions based on established criteria.
  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve billing issues.
  • Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and analysis for management review.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve cross-functional communication.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable management.

Qualifications

You should have the following:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA or other relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.

Communication Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts, both verbally and written.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner to team members as well as individuals at all levels of Rinchem.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Netsuite) and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Emphasis on advanced Excel skills and experience in data analysis and reporting
