The College of Arts & Sciences at the University of New Mexico is seeking an innovative and collaborative person to join our team as Marketing & Communications Manager. This position reports directly to the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. The successful candidate will develop and implement a strategy to communicate the strengths our diverse college to multiple audiences. Core responsibilities include the following: 1) developing and implementing a strategic plan for the marketing and communications of the College; 2) developing a content plan strategy for the redesign and maintenance of the College website, multi-media content and creation of a strong digital presence; 3) collaborating with internal and external stakeholders; 4) applying current marketing concepts and techniques to a university environment; 5) communicating effectively through various communication methods to reach target audience ; and 6) supervising others and identifying professional development opportunities. A strong candidate will be able to work with the variety of stakeholders and will integrate to new technologies into the College strategy.

* Demonstrated experience managing website content
* Ability to meet deadlines when working on multiple projects
* Ability to apply modern and emerging technologies to a university environment

Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience.
* Experience conceptualizing the redesign of a website and social media platforms

* Experience developing and implementing a strategic plan for an organization
