Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for an entry-level sanitary sewer survey technician.
Responsibilities include:
- Collecting field data associated with the completion of a typical Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey
- Monitoring flow; testing smoke; testing dye; etc.
- Performing field investigations by collecting high quality and accurate data
- Inspecting Manholes - recording various structure attributes and identifying defects in accordance with NASSCO MACP standards
- Conducting dye water tracing and dye water flooding
- Working in confined spaces, including sanitary sewer manholes
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and testing hardware and software
The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass Mead & Hunt's vehicle safety program criteria. Travel, overnight stays and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds will also be required.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
- High school diploma or GED (or higher)
- Previous experience/willingness to work in and around sanitary sewer lines
- Experience with MS Office software
- Ability/willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
