The Division of Hospital Medicine, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking an Administrative Assistant 3. The Division of Hospital Medicine is currently seeking a motivated self-starter who is interested in becoming a valued member of the team. This person should have excellent communication skills, value customer service, be detail oriented and have proven time management skills. The Administrative Assistant III will be the first line of communication for our faculty, vendors and residents and therefore should possess the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person. Computer skills and basic math skills are essential. This candidate will perform a variety of administrative support duties for the Division to include: assist the Division Chief, reception duties, answering phones, filing, processing financial transactions, maintaining minutes of meetings, assisting with event planning, performing data entry, assist with faculty credentialing, maintaining schedules and provide assistance in areas of faculty recruitment-hiring-orientation.

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
