This application is for FALL 2024 hiring only.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL:


  • Represent CTL as a resource to connect the UNM community to available academic services


  • Provide superior customer service to student users, staff, and faculty


  • Disseminate information about CTL Student Learning Assistance policies and procedures to student users, staff, and faculty


  • Coordinate information and appointments between tutors and student users


  • Use CTL in-house computer system to schedule appointments for student users


  • Maintain confidentiality of student users and information


  • Perform general office duties including word processing and data entry

  • Facilitate support for services both in-person and online


  • Maintain organization of CTL locations


  • Perform other CTL related duties as assigned


  • Requirements For Consideration:
    10-25 hour work week with scheduling flexibility


  • Attendance at pre-semester training (week before classes begin)


  • Attendance at weekly Friday trainings (3pm-5pm) during the semester


  • Enrollment in a minimum of 6 credit hours at the University of New Mexico in a degree-seeking program

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS WITH A WORK STUDY AWARD. But ALL applicants are welcome

Minimum Qualifications Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Good verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Experience working with computers
Experience working with the public
Ability to perform tasks accurately

Experience with online platforms
