Job Summary

This position is responsible for collaborating with internal clients to develop and maintain webforms and user interfaces as well as support backend databases.

Key duties involve development and maintenance of webforms, ensuring webforms are accessible across multiple platforms, fixing any issues or bugs that arise, and routinely testing for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors.

Additional tasks encompass support and maintenance of backend databases, stored procedures, and packages. Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.

May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.

Produces datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.

May perform research and assists in analyzing financial and health data, including medical algorithms to determine health care expenditures, medical and economic outcomes, and cost containment strategies. Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

VERY HIGHLY PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, tables, and views), SSIS packages.

Experience with JavaScript, HTML, ASP.net, Azure DevOps and webform development.

Experience using Visual Studio.

Experience or familiarity with healthcare terms and data.


-This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum of three (3) days in-office visibility per week in a posted HCSC office on an ongoing basis.

-HCSC cannot consider candidates for this role who do or will require sponsorship for employment visa now or at any time in the future.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors' Degree and three (3) years' experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics including one (1) year experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data, including pharmacy.

OR

Seven (7) years' experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics including one (1) year experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data, including pharmacy.

Requires in-depth knowledge and experience.

Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.

Independently solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.

Works independently, receives minimal guidance.

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may direct the work of other staff members.
