Primary Purpose of Position | The position of Social Media Content Specialist will be dedicated to content ideation, development, creation, and assessment for UCOMM owned social media channels, including the main University social media and Alumni accounts. This position will work collaboratively with the University social media team to develop new social media content processes and elevate the University's brand on social media. |
Minimum Education/Experience |
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience related to the area of assignment in a broadcast television, radio and emerging media environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. University Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a four-year college or university in radio, television, and motion picture and two years of experience in producing television program and audiovisual materials; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
Essential Job Duties | As a member of UNC Charlotte's social media team, the Social Media Content Producer will report to the Director of Social Media and will be responsible for all aspects of content execution for the flagship UNC Charlotte social channels. This includes:
