Our team focuses on a broad range of challenging projects related to fish hatcheries, ecohydraulics and fisheries science. In the role of Senior Project Manager - Fisheries, we will count on you to:
* Develop, design, and lead implementation of fisheries related projects including regulatory aspects of project implementation
* Collect, assimilate, and present data in reports, memos, and public forums
* Lead field assessments of streams as need but generally in the role of guidance and mentorship
* Market for new client contacts and project opportunities
* Support hiring and staffing of local work, along with managing staff where needed
* Work independently in addition to planning, organizing and assisting groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians
* Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
* Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
* Collaborate and support other offices in HDR under aspects of technical aquatic work
* Willingness to travel as needed for either collaboration or project support.
* Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in related field
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 10 years related experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software (Primavera P3 or SureTrak preferred), project management software (Prolog preferred)
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
